What you need to know.

Hey, I'm Grace.

And this is my 'masturbation blog'. It was supposed to be a journal of some sorts, mostly for my entertainment. But people seem interested enough, so now it will, hopefully, be something bigger than that. I'm here to offer advice, lend an ear (eyes), provide you with funny anecdotes, and try to be educational. Don't worry, we can still have fun while learning.

I will document personal experiences and I fully support the idea of having people contribute to the cause.

This blog exists to, sort of, battle the stigma that masturbation, or sex in general, has. Especially regarding females and how their ability to receive pleasure from sexual acts, and even their right to do so, is questioned by society.

If not, it can be a place to let it all out without fear of judgement and societal pressures.

The point of this is to be honest, genuine, sincere, and open.

I have not abandoned this blog.  College is keeping me far too busy, but I hope to answer some of the asks I have in my inbox.  They’re just not answers that come up in a minute or two and actually require thinking.

See you soon, lovelies.~

equalistsfuckshitup whispered,

Heres something i wanted to share since you said you also suffer from asthma. I haven't had an inhaler for a very long time, and i get pretty bad at night, its so hard to breathe and i cant go to sleep because i feel like ill suffocate. but then, a few months ago, i was like well if im going to be awake i might as well masturbate and after orgasming 3 rimes i realized i could breath! now whenever i feel an attack coming on at night, i just masturbate and i feel so much better

Hello, other asthmatic!  First of all, I’m sorry that you suffer from such a shitty disease.  I’m sorry, but it’s true.  It’s annoying.

The cold tends to trigger asthma attacks in me at night, too, so I definitely know the feeling. And it’s particularly sucky because I like masturbating during the night.

You know what I like to do, though?  If you like coffee (I’m addicted to it), drink a cup of coffee.  Caffeine is a natural dilator, which means it’s a natural way to counter the swelling and constriction of your airway when you’re feeling that tight-chested, asthma-like feeling.

So, drink a cup of coffee, relax for a second, and just masturbate.  The caffeine will help keep your airway cleared up while still not inducing the annoying side-effects asthma medicines can provoke—palpitations, high blood-pressure, trembling, and so on.

Now, this is only if you like coffee, of course.  Although, I still recommend you give it a try.

If not, try to establish a slow and deep breathing rhythm.  Touch yourself slowly and breathing in just as slowly.  Don’t pant and let yourself get out of breath.  Deeper breaths mean more oxygen going into your lungs, therefore, blood richer in oxygen.  When do you do it this way, it’s both naturally pleasant and almost like meditating, in a way.

Also, just in case and not related to masturbation (though, still related to what I just said), if you ever have an asthma attack and don’t have your inhaler at hand, drink coffee.  Black coffee if you feel like it’s too strong.  It helps you enough to either get your medicine or get help.

Wow, I just ranted a whole lot.  Sorry. :D

Anonymous whispered,

is it true that masturbation can effect your breathing?

Affect your breathing?  How so?  When you are masturbating, it’s like any other type of physical exercise.  There will be changes in your heart rate, blood pressure, and respiration rate.  All of these will rise.

Your heart and lungs will work faster in tandem to supply much needed oxygen-rich blood to where it’s most needed—whether you’re female of male, your sexual organs will swell up with blood at stimulation.  And your blood pressure will rise in response to all of this physical activity.

So, in theory, yes, masturbation will affect your breathing, but not in an abnormal way.  It’s like playing sports, except you’re touching yourself.

I assume you’re asking if masturbation can affect your breathing in a way that is harmful.  Unless you suffer from a very severe lung condition, it doesn’t.  You’ll just be slightly out of breath and panting, all within normal parameters.

I’ve suffered from chronic asthma since I was forty days old.  I’ve experienced asthma attacks while masturbating, and, hey…

I’m still here, aren’t I? ;D  You have nothing to worry about.

k9gm3 whispered,

The problem was that whenever I got an erection, the wound would sort of... pull itself open? Does that make sense?

I’m guessing you’re saying the swelling of your… erection would stretch the skin and re-open the wound, making it difficult to heal? O:

k9gm3 whispered,

I have been oversensitive once. But I'd had seven orgasms that day (which I might not sound like much, but remember that I'm male xP), and I hadn't been exactly gentle in getting them... I actually found a little wound in the shower that night ^_^;

Ouch!  Congratulations on the seven orgasms, but the wound sounds painful.  To be honest, I once hurt myself with my own nails (I usually keep them trimmed and short, but I forgot about it due to pent-up frustration).

It wasn’t fun.

k9gm3 whispered,

Didn't get any kind of after-buzz... but even without that, it's worth trying for again.

Really?  Maybe that’s just me.  I tend to be horribly over-sensitive after masturbating.

Oh, ho, ho.  It’s definitely worth trying it another time.
